Stern Industries was incorporated in the State of Minnesota in 1995. We began as a spin-off of Stern Rubber Company. Stern Rubber Company had been getting inquiries from its customer base to source polymer products outside of custom molded rubber, which Stern Rubber had been
doing since the early 1970's. In order for this to be managed effectively, the decision was made to create a separate entity named Stern industries. Stern Industries is a privately held S corporation owned equally between Terrel Stern and Shawn M. Hunstad. Sales have grown from under $200,000 in 1995 to over $43 million in 2006. Stern Industries has and will continue to invest for growth to meet the needs of its customers.
